thought I would post you a pic of what they had installed in the high dollar new fence,, these were just 2 feet in the ground, the bid spec's called for a 10' post and 4 foot bury for corner and gate posts,,, as you can see they did not follows specs at all,,, and machine driven post works for line posts if they put them in the ground,,, and these sharpened posts are a total joke the way they installed them,, for the last 45 years I have built fence I hand tamp all of my wood posts,, they do not move/lean ect,, everyone of these in this 2 miles of fence are just like these pics show,,, they used a smaller bit to predrill holes then drove them in,,, but the trick is you have to clean out the holes by hand,,, not many people now days for hire know how to do any hand work anymore,,, I will be talking to our County board about this as this should not be my cost to fix all this as I told them the day they put these up what they were doing,, not sure if I already said it or not but they put the concrete around these two when the posts fell over the next day after installing the gates rant over lol

You're picture of the post on the loader should be proof enough! That pretty clearly defines how it was installed, with the grass clump and all attached. Pretty sure here we had a road bill passed last year for road money in MI that the contractors now have to provide a warranty for work. That way, if something such as yours would occur, or something happened to a project due to their incompetence, shoddy work, poor design, etc, they will be required to fix at their own expense. You shouldn't have to pay for that.
