Hahn Pow-R-Boy Tiller

Hello, I'm new here and new to garden equipment.

I recently acquired a tiller that I can find no information on, and was hoping I might find some here.

This tiller appears to be old, it's yellow with black letters on the front that read 'HAHN' with 'Pow-R-Boy' underneath. This machine has a 3.5HP Briggs & Stratton. There is also a plate with the Series No (8007), Model No (BHT-120), and Serial No imprinted on it. I have endlessly searched Google with all word and number combinations, read endless websites, and am still coming up empty for anything.

I would like to know how/where I find a date of manufacture, are parts still available, is this a tiller, rotary tiller, cultivator, etc. Any information I receive about where to find anything will be greatly appreciated!

Thank you for your time :)

Perhaps google Hahn Eclipse. I did quickly and saw yellow rototillers listed. We had a riding mower of that brand. I believe it was sold by Agway.

My parents had a Hahn tiller pretty sure it said Pow-R-Boy on it too. 3.5hp B&S vertical shaft engine. I think they bought it in the early 60's, it was orange and white in color. Grandparents had one probably mid 60's vintage and it was yellow and white. Pretty simple made, the idler/belt/clutch was inside the housing below the engine. I think the gearbox components were all pretty standard for that era. They were pretty narrow and had a very high center of gravity so they bucked like a bronco when they hit a rock.

not positive but I believe you can get engine mfg. date from briggs web site. something like look on air housing for model no. and code no. if code no. it tells you date of mfg. if it has a serial no. it was made I believe prior to 1963

I Google(d) SO many hours my eyes started to cross! Lol. I couldn't find anything about what I want to know. I grew up in the Evansville area and found a lot about the Hahn company that I thought was really interesting, but nothing about the actual equipment.

Thank you for the suggestion, though, and your time for reading my post!

Thank you, also... your reply was helpful too! I really appreciate people taking time out to read, and try to help.
