worms in 150 lb pigs

What's the best thing to give 150 lb. pigs to worm them. I was washing down the pen this morning & found a worm about 6" long. One of the pigs hair isn't looking right & he has kinda loose stool, but I need to treat a 3 of them. Keith

I use injectable ivermectin for round worms and such. It also doesn't hurt to run safegaurd thru them once and a while if they are on dirt. hth, jstpa

We feed pumpkins and winter squash which are de-wormers. We have not had an issue. We grow both however so the supply in the fall of ones that are not good for sale is easily found at our place.

Thanks guys, we just fed some pumpkins last week end then again yesterday. Guess that might be why I saw the worm today (it was dead). I have also got some piperazine to put in their water in the morning. I sure appreciate the responses and am glad to learn about pumpkins & squash. Proof that even us old #arts can still learn LOL. I'm not recommending this but years ago I heard this idea about worming hogs. It was said to feed them "lye". As I remember it was like a spoonful in their feed. I can't imagine this would be good and I wonder if any of you other old-timers have ever heard of this??
