Have to love the old Country Church Picnics

We went to a church picnic 25 miles from home this year. One of my wife's co-workers invited us to come. The chicken dinner they had was
Great. Saw this gravity wagon sitting out on the church grounds for everyone to throw their aluminum cans in to. Something you don't see
every day.

Wow are you lucky! The last Church picnic I went to was when there were still some farmers going to the church. Back in the late 50s. I have visited them a few times in the cemitery. Last big picnic like that was at the gun club I was in. Ran for about ten years. 500 mambers and like 350 or so would come. Lots of fun. Couple of years ago some guys on the commity moved, one died, and that was that. Please remember the nice time you had cause 5hey are a fast fadeing.
