2 n no spark

Hello old,

wanted to share. I found a small copper strip joining the points to the point plate broken, to hard to see until it cameout after trying to put the condenser in.
Put a new point plate in fixed the no spark condition. Thanks for your suggestions.

You could have replaced the broken copper strip with one salvaged from an old set of breaker points, or connected the two terminals with a short wire lead.

Glad to hear it's working, because there have been reports of poorly made replacement breaker plates that don't center the shaft or allow the points to be set correctly, so for that reason, repairing the quality US-made OEM part is sometimes a better option.
