okay guys and girls this isn't about tractors.
Tall Kid has a 1989 Corvette it has some kind of alarm or warning bell on it that rings constantly when the car isn't running. it about to drive me crazy when i am outside working. where do i start looking to find out why this is happening?
i have looked at owners manual and couldn't find out what i needed to.

Does it have one of those passive key fobs? The car senses the proximity of the key when it's in range or not. Some automatically lock the car, etc. I'm sure there is a list of options. Maybe it's calling for it's mama or something when the key is away.

Look for a light being on. Door ajar switch. Car thinks something is on or open or key in switch. Pull the fuses on those circuits to see if you can find it

Trouble light under hood not cancling, glove box light, or maybe trunk lite staying on, triggering the alarm??? Does it do it when the key is out of the ignition?

Open both doors, lock both doors passenger side first, close both doors passeneger side first. Use key to unlock PASSENGER side door. (Assumig it has power locks.) This resets a security feature on the car. At least on my brother in laws it does.

Might be some aftermarket alarm system ? At the GM garage once a car got towed in and alarm got set off and set there screaming ! A tech calmly walked up to it pulled a wire cutter out of his pocket clipped the wire off to the alarm and them calmly walked back to his area. I'm still laughing about that today !

Sold my Corvette 2 years ago but used to get my answers here:
