We're going to make apple cider this weekend for a big crowd and my son & daughter gave me this apple grinder for Father's day so I needed to get it on a stand. I wasn't sure how to mount the grinder but one night it popped into my head how I wanted the stand to look like. I started on it Friday evening. Here it is. Just finished last night. I used all stainless steel fasteners.

Get your Apple Grinder Here

You have got the grinder to the tub but where is the screw to use to press the juice out of the ground up apples? Then what is catching the juice that runs out of the apples as you grind? I see no pan under for that either.

The press is seperate.

This was just for pictures. I have a pan to put under the basket just didn't include it in the picture. It would have blocked the view of the wood.

You need it together so you can just slid a full drun from under the grinder to under the press. That drum will be heavy and when you want to pick it up to move the bottom will drop out. Good looking work but you need a better design. Make one in all in one piece.

I'd cut about 3 inches off that shact and cut out a small wooden yoke to put under it for support. Drill a hole in a block and cut in half.
