Radiator Shop Central NY

Pete, I talked to Wilmer King and he said there is one up on 5S in Illion/Frankfort who was good. I don't recall the name Though. They are few and far between now days.

Before I would pull it out and spend a lot of $$ on it I would try this. Drain the system and then fill with Vinegar and run it a few times. Then if you can rig up a hose hook up at the block drain and drain the vinegar out and back flush it with the garden hose. I have an Oliver 77 that would over heat but once I had flushed it with vinegar and then back flushed it it has not over heated since and that was about 10 years ago

More info please - use 100% store vinegar or a dilution? What about pickling vinegar. I need to do this to my tractor. Occasionally overheating.

I would use full strength 5% and not the 4% that you find at places. I think stronger is better. I know using vinagar to rust clean parts full strength 5%.
