Couple of weeks ago a guy calls me and has me look at a bunch of stuff his late father-in-law had and is trying to get rid of. I told him I would give him $100 to haul off the stuff and save him a trip to the scrapyard...yesterday he called and said come and get it. Found a few things worth hauling off. What dya think?

Is this an IH mower??

Allis C scratchers

AC B cultivators, #7 sickle mower

Anyone need a sickle?

Surprise....nice chains, guess he loaded these!

Nice B-C radiator, lift arm latches, new hitch pin

Nice power unit shroud.

Lots of other stuff, pistons, rods, blocks, cranks...more for the junk pile.

Would you sell that shroud? I could really use one on my dads old
machine. Thanks and please let me know. Jeffcat

Eldon,

There are a few folks that'd be somewhat upset at your gain...I am not one of those. I have "settled" more estates than I wanted or planned to. If I had known then what I hve earned the knowledge of, now; well I'd like a good part of each estate to get to somewhere appreciated. I appreciate those that can make an estate into usable sales.

Good for you, and probably good for them as well.

Well it does look a little better all sorted out....was in a pile when I made the offer. He was just going to haul it to the scrapper anyway.....luckily there were some items worth saving in the load. After taking 2 hours to load it all, I asked him how much he was paying me to take it LOL!

Was it Bryce that was looking for some coulters? I hope that you grabbed that AC mower.

Looks like a lot of stuff someone could use. The mowing machine looks like it fits a F12/F14. Maybe put an ad somewhere for a bit before making the final run with it.

My late wife's father had one of those pitmanless AC mowers and used it for years without much upkeep. I would say, based upon what I saw, that they were a very good mower.

I don't think I would lift that Allis motor with that chain! Looks to be hooked to the valve cover hold down bolts, which I don't think are very strong!
