marvel schebler carburetor

Hey guys I was in the shop cleaning a marvel carb and dropped the 8/32 drill plug screw that goes in the bottom of the bowl, and of course cant find it.
Is this anything special or would a stubby 8/32 brass screw do the job?

All it has to do is seal the hole.

A screw will work but it needs to be really short or it will bottom.
If you want an original brass plug they are available.
I think they were about $1.50 each plus shipping when I ordered
them. I have some here if you need one.
