Technically we do not have "Black Tuesday" it came up here recently when our money was even to prevent Canadian to go shop south of the border. Our "new" is Black Friday the same day as the American one. I cannot speak for all of Canada but here in Quebec Boxing Day was/is the popular event.

Happy hanksgiving! Funny thing is here in Marcus Iowa, this weekend my family is celebrating thanksgiving, or as we call it ThanksChristgiving. Something we do since our parents died in 2002. Yes we are blessed!

Canada never had Black Tuesday, Black Friday or what ever it is until the marketing departments introduced it a couple of years ago.

I don't mean to be stupid or offensive, but on Thanksgiving where I live, people come over and went sit down and stuff ourselves with turkey and stuff. Then we lay around and take a nap in between watching football and drinking beer. Then we get up and eat some more turkey and have desert, often pumpkin pie. Then we get into arguments and the cops come over to simmer us down, and if they don't have to cart any of us off to jail, they join us for pumpkin pie after maybe a plate of turkey and dressing. Now here is where I might get stupid and offensive. What do you do on Thanksgiving?

One more thing that I haven't heard about from up there. Say a cop has to shoot a bad guy, does everyone riot and burn towns down up there like we now always do down here?
