Not enough room there budy! Hit me hard enough to move the truck. Lucky only no,or damage to the trailer. He pulled in his mirror to get by, how can you not know if your mirror don't fit neither does the trailer?

I would guess those diagonal lines painted there are also there to show it is NOT a parking space? Are the drivers out there getting worse, or is your truck just cursed?

Seems like your truck has those red circles from a big store on it. (Target) As picky as DOT is for license and everything, I can't see how some of these "drivers" get, or keep, a drivers license.

Lets not talk about curses and such, it's bad enough already! Lol You can see I haven't fixed the damage from when the deer ran into me yet.

was the guy trying to prove something or being a smart a$$ for some reason OR just dummer than a box of hammers. Because you being able to take a picture and him still coming is the part i aint getting .

I drive lnterstate 78 and have been for many years. I have noticed in the past two years a big difference in truck drivers. Many of them tailgate each other dangerously close, weave in and out,and lots of things that I have never seen over the years. Also see and hear about a lot more accidents on the highway. I wasnt sure if it was my imagination ,,it may not be?

No kidding, when I was loading 40' sea cans with construction equipment headed overseas, probably 90% were from a foreign country. No big deal there. But, the ones from the middle east could/would not speak English, couldn't back straight to a 75' wide dock in the middle of a concrete lot with 100' straight lines to it. At least the guys from Russia, Ukraine and Czech Republic areas would know enough English to get by, and would try to learn what they could. They were decent drivers and wanted things to be right. The other guys, that didn't want to speak any English, didn't care.

Accidents are down as a percentage of trucks on the road and miles traveled, but about the same as far as total numbers. So there are o more accidents, they aee just reported more in the news so I think it seems worse. As far as driver behavior I don't think its worse, but trucks are more powerful and faster now so they can keep up with cars better and mix in more with traffic so ot seems worse for the car folks. I reality since the trucks are moving faster there is less traffic holdups.

It seems as almost all of the guys running out of Michigan here have deer deflectors on the front of them now. You know as well as I do how much a hood costs lol

was Abdul alla repentant ?or was he claiming it was your fault ?,,. how not to wake up ?,.. well john . I recall sleeping in a tent atFFA camp Trafalgar ind,.40 yrs ago ,.. one of the state officers came walking thru the camp...hollering out ,. GET UP,ALL THE COWS ARE IN THE CORN AND SOME ARE ON HE STATE HIWAY ,.. boy that woke a bunch of us up in a hurry.. LOL

Yep, and Schneider before that and another swift before that. You can also see the damage from when the deer ran into me on the passenger side mirror and rear fairing and box door that I haven't even fixed yet.

Well I'm wondering with the newer LOW blood pressure requirements if they make them get so low they don't have enough pressure left for blood to reach the brain ?

I'm guessing it was the last "space" at the truck stop? But even if he did squeeze in, how were either of you going to get out? And what about the "no parking" lines, there, Sherlock?? Sheesh. . .

BTW, I'll bet I'm not the only non-trucker who would like to see some pics of the inside of a modern sleeper cab.

there are steering wheel holders & truck drivers. mostly steering holders today.got woke up the same way in a rest area years ago. RB

As picky as DOT is for license and everything, I can't see how some of these "drivers" get, or keep, a drivers license.

DOT doesn't care HOW you drive. All they care about is that you're not 1lb overweight, aren't missing any unnecessary bolts, don't have a 1/2 turn of twist in a chain, etc..

I don't know about worse but some seem to be more rude than I ever remember. We pass a truck stop on the way to work at SR 37 and I-70. Every morning we have a truck making a left turn in to the truck stop in front of us. Always a situation for me to get hard on the brakes to avoid hitting them. They couldn't wait a few more seconds for me to pass by? They must think that I can either stop or hit them.

Jon-Too bad it's not an Olympic event, The truck driver dash. Get pants on, survey damage, stop that truck. You have world class speed!

I saw a truck on the road the other day his sleeper part of his cab looked like a small box truck box ! He must have a small apartment set up in there !

I don't like to drive the car on I10 between Phoenix and Tucson. Speed limit is 75, but I see trucks tailgating each other at 85 mph; they have no chance to stop if a situation pops up that they have to stop suddenly. Always seems to be some big crashes if a dust storm pops up. Some stretches are so bad with blowing dust that the DOT is now looking into costs of treating the vacant land on both sides of the interstate to stop the dust.

Try running across the pilot parking lot after a guy who just tore off the hood of your truck in your underwear. good thing they were camo LOL

Jon not to be a wise guy but in my state you would have to park (back) the rig into a space like that just to get a CDL!!!!

How to pronounce J. B. Hunt in German? Schneider!

Wasn't it Rob Lowe that woke up with no clothes in the bed of some stranger's house surrounded by cops pointing their guns at him? That would be one way that I could think of how not to wake up. With your girlfriend in your arms, opening your eyes to see her husband standing there with a loaded .44 would be another. With your dog doing its duty on your bedroom rug because you overslept and it couldn't hold it would be another. How about waking up on an airplane looking out a window and seeing it doing a steep corkscrew downward through the clouds? On the Titanic might not have been how to wake up.

Jon, sometimes we all wake up in ways that we wish we hadn't. I woke up in jail a couple of times and they didn't give me back my jug before I left. It happens.

This is on I-80 in Iowa last month. I had my cruise set at 80 mph, these two passed me like I was standing still, the big rig was almost touching the back of the red SUV.
