I was going to work on the barn some more, but got sidetracked,

The neighbor is digging some potatoes off and on.I had planted some neck pumpkins and a few regular pumpkins in his patch in blank spots. His grandma likes to hand out neck pumpkins to some of her friends and relatives. They are hard to find in the weeds, and he mows before he digs the potatoes.Since Im not always around I figured I better get everything I can find out of the patch now.

Thanks for joining Maggie and I in PA/////

Glad to see you keeping busy! You must be in your 60's, because it looks like you can do the work of three of today's 20-somethings...

Can't get any help from Maggie if she's locked in the truck, though.

I bought another manure spreader today off of CL, and the seller grows about 20 acres of potatoes. He had his JD potato digger right outside the barn getting ready for some repairs. Those look like some handy tools for someone with more than a hill or two.

I just KNOW you're really the Energizer Bunny in disguise. LOL
Keep on keepin' on!!

I dug our sweet potatoes today... literally got TWO. One from each plant. Hee-hee!

Did get a nice sized bowl of sweet basil leaves though. Cleaned them, dried them off and stuck them in the refrigerator. Tomorrow after work, I'll make a big batch of Pesto and freeze it in meal-sized portions to serve tossed with pasta.

Hi Larry, Thanks again for sharing the nice pictures. Larry you mention your age 61 on Thursday, Carole and I are celebrating our 60 th Anniversary on Thursday, (we actually celebrated this past Sunday at the fire hall) our children and grandchildren and family made the event happen, lot's of people gathered. Cheers to everyone, Murray
