I have a 6hp tecumseh on an arens weedeater, Was having a hard to start then NO startproblem. Spark was fine so carb problem, played with it and decided to replace carburator. Got new carb and took photos before I started, however didn't take that "one" that I need, as when I loosened the linkage it fell apart and I am having trouble with the gas linkage.
So does anyone know where I can find an exploded view of the linkage? thanks joe

Find the search box on your screen and type 6 hsp. Tecumseh carb. linkage and start reading, you got a H6 or V6, horizontal or vertical crankshaft?

I got fed up and took the 8 horse vertical off the mower. It's still all together for pics if you have vertical shaft. Do yourself a favor, get rid of that Tec engine. Junk. Even a Harbor Freight engine of questionable origin is a step up.

I may do just that, it is on a walk behind string trimmer used only 2 or 3 times a year. I think one of the wire links is upside down so will play with it more, too wet to trim now anyway. I realy need to get my Ford ready for next Friday's event. thanks joe

The Alcohol in today's Gas draws moisture and destroys Aluminum, Pot Metel, etc..it can also soften and ruin Fuel lines..

Sea Foam has worked a few times for me, but Best to find Pure Gasoline ( Some Hi-Test gas is supposed to be alcohol free)..
