Your defining the threads incorrectly. The correct designation is not in thousandths of an inch, it is fractional, Like 3/4X16, or 11/16X16 No US manufacturer uses decimal thread forms. The decimal size you provide is not a nominal Inch fractional size, it is between 3/4" and 13/16". It is not metric as it is an odd 20.19 mm also a non metric size. I would take the tie rod end to a NAPA dealer, or a machine shop of quality. and have it sized. The taper is measured in degrees (usually included angle), not sizes of both ends. Just take it to them. you will also find the other end to be left hand threads! The axle is an an industrial axle, not a farm/ag axle. the steering is likely to be hydrostatic not at all like a IH 35U farm utility tractor. Jim

When I needed a tie rod end for a Cockshutt 40, I took one off and took it to Empire Tractor in Cortland NY or maybe it was Cazenovia. Parts man had a whole drawer of them loose and we found 2 that fit.

thanks but thats the problem no tractor dealers by me except cat and they will not try and help because it is not a cat

I think you have a Case ck 530 tractor loader. It is industrial and not a IH 350U (I own one!). A photo of the tractor would sure help. But I do not think it is a Farm type tractor at all. Take it to a truck parts store. ANother solution is to have a drag link made for common ends . Jim

And a parts man worth half his salt could easily convert from thousandth's to fractions if he paid any attention in school. After all .250 is 1/4 inch and so on. The threads per inch would be more of an item than the decimal conversion.
I would look to a truck parts house.

thanks for reply took to napa they were the ones who ordered the .812 tie rod end that does not fit

what i ended up doing was pulling a drag link off a 91 econoline van same length .just had to shim holes because pins were smaller but works great

That's good because what you have there is not a stock 350 Utility front end, or even an optional one.

Someone scabbed an industrial steering axle off of God knows what on to the tractor some time in the past. Could be IH, Case, John Deere, Cat, or any of a hundred other brands. It didn't necessarily come off a tractor, either.

There's no way you were ever going to find the right parts without knowing what that axle came off of.
