Uncle broke the rear axle on his grain truck. its a 1974 international 1700 loadstar. Cant seem to find one anywhere. its a 2 speed axle and I have numbers if any one knows where to start. I am located in east central IL. But shipping is not an issue if we can find one. Thanks for all your help.

Gig Johnston Salvage. At Norris City. Just south of you a bit. Be sure and take all of your broken one. To be sure.

His ph. No. 618 378 3754. You would be better to just drive down there. He is on rt 45. Can't miss it. Big. Google him.

I would have to go out and look but I have a old IH truck out at the edge of the field that may have one. This one is an old tilt cab and had a 345 V-8 in it but not sure if the rear is a single or 2 speed

I have one setting here, a 2 speed. Pretty sure it was a 1700 Loadstar it came out of, but would have to ask my dad when I see him tomorrow. Maybe he won't want to get rid of it, but I'll ask him if you want. It's in central MI though.

Check ebay and other online sights. Go to heavy truck places in your area. Once in awhile you get an odd one that is hard to get.

Did you get the axle number? Knowing what axle it has is almost more important than tha model of truck it is under. Like Vic said get all of the old one out and take it along. You might run into a situation where the yard might have three different axle lengths a half inch apart depending on what gear set is in the pumpkin.

Found one in Norris City, Thanks Vic S. Never heard of that place but keeping the phone #. Maybe we can get this back together now before it stops raining and the beans are fit. Thanks for all the replies and the help guys.
