Oliver 600 with David brown diesel

I have a 1963 Oliver 600 with a cracked block. It has a AD4 47a 45499 block. Is there a difference between A or B?
SN range for engine, is it possible to install engine block from SN 450000-up? I am aware David Brown 990 has same Diesel engine
Does it matter any SN up to and from?
Thanks, Greg

There is such an animal

The 600 is the same tractor as the early (Red) DB 990,I also have one that needs an engine and was wondering if the late model 990 (white) would bolt into the 600.

Not sure about later AD4. Maybe one out of a straight David Brown before they became Case/David Brown. I have a couple of those engines. Be nice if they would. I passed on a 600 because it had the side of the block missing. Maybe should have bought it and then found out if the later engine would fit.

(quoted from post at 08:42:31 09/28/16) Ad4 203 out of a mf165 is similar but I don't know about the bolt pattern.

A 203 perk has nothing even remotely similar to a 4/47 Db except the injector pump.

(quoted from post at 22:31:00 09/27/16) AD4 - wouldn't happen to be a Perkins?

That is a SWAG!
No it's a David brown 4cyl diesel.
Will later SN break fit?
I notice in catalogs they offer parts if SN is above 450,000?
