Nice looking pair you have there. I really enjoy picking ear corn each fall. I hope you have fun too.

So far, so good. Now, take that thing to a welding shop and get them to put a remote cylinder hookup on it. The one I put on a #7 was a 2' long rockshaft and a connecting rod from the high point of the manual lift to the midpoint of the rockshaft. It worked extremely well and paid me back quite often when I was picking.

Looking good!
I'm thinking that yoke at the front of the PTO shaft should be adjustable so that the PTO shaft will run in a straight line from the tractor back to the picker. Or maybe you already know that and just haven't got around to adjusting it yet.
Let us know how well it works.

They sold one at the auction yesterday didn't look as good as yours bought around $800 but it was a 2 row. Also sold a mounted Oliver picker they said came off an 88.

I don't think it's even hooked to the tractor is it? Looks like it's unhooked and laying back.

1 row m-m corn picker at auction in dakota il sat i didn't see it sell.
i always liked picking ear corn with a pull type picker using sheller unit on a pull type would have been okay too

Thanks everyone! Yea I need to free up that shaft so I can adjust it to run straight il get some pictures using it whenever the corn is fit
