I never stopped to look at this weed closely when it changes color for a short time. I did yesterday and snapped some pics,,, so who can name this from this pic? these are Very small blooms,, maybe half the size of a pencil eraser or smaller

I seen something close to that in the road ditch a few weeks ago. Pretty, so thought would dig some up and take home for flower bed. Grab a vine to find the base and it was eight foot away and real tough. So said forget that.

I think it's foxglove. We had a few pop up around the yard this summer. Nice color so we left it alone.

I want to say purple loosestrife but am not sure about it.
Stand back some more so we can see the whole plant.

Sorry I was posting the pics that way on purpose,, we call them "Tumble Weds" here a type of thistle they pile up in the fence rows sometimes and have a Lot of tiny black seed when they mature.
