Chraftman leaf blower

My chraftman leaf blower that I use to blow off the equipment will not crank and I am not getting any fire put a new plug in it and no fire, where is the coil and ignition in this thing?

Don't know much about the craftsman blower. Just start taking covers off until you come to the coil. I have a Red Max line trimmer that has the same problem. I am finding out it isn't worth trying to repair these old machines when they quit from lack of spark the coil is more likely the problem. The coil in my trimmer is about 90.00 when the new machine is 300.00 Time to move on, with a 10 year old machine. Stan

Just follow the plug wire...

Be sure you are pulling it through fast enough to make a spark, they need to turn quite fast to get any fire.

When you find the coil, try unplugging the kill wire, try it again. Could be something shorted in the kill circuit. If that doesn't fix it, unless you can find a donor machine, probably not worth buying a new coil.

If you do get spark, and it still won't run, the most common cause if the fuel system. Either clogged up carb, or bad fuel lines.
