DAVE H (MI)

Corresponded with him about a month ago. At tha time, he, like all the rest of us, was swamped with his farming.

Baled hay again today, single handedly. Loaded half a wagon load and have another load to do in the morning. Running out of wagons, and have 3 fields to go. Will have 4 1/2 loads to mow after tomorrow. Anybody got a foot ball team to rent? Oh, and a good strong farm girl?

As well as it is gonna get this year! Just a coincidence, but tomorrow is the extension deadline for Forms 1041, 1065 and several others so I am in here working tonight and just decided to check in. I did speak to Ray a while back and have had fairly regular contact with JD Seller who has been holding my hand while I worked thru a lot of issues with a green planter. Ray is right. I have been kept very busy with farming and some family issues. I timed my planting SOOOO well this year...less than one inch of rain in the five weeks following. A lot of corn did not make it up. A lot of corn parched and withered. Soy was hardly out of the ground going into July. Weed control was problematic. Things look pretty good now as long as it all matures and drys well. The last several weeks have been spent getting my oldest settled at college and building a retaining wall on the east end of the barn. I'll be around more hopefully when the dust settles. Been quite a year, thanks for asking!

Problems with the 7000? I know them inside and out too. Just ask. I used mine one year at 36 inches to plant "check row " beans. Cut pop in half and planted E/W and then N/S and got 65 bu. Several neighbors stopped in to ask what width rows I had as they couldn't see any rows, LOL
