I posted on here about a week or so ago about a break question I had were the pads were higher than the rotor ended up taking the new pads and comparing them with what came off. new pad set higher on the backing plate returned them and got a different brand. now they sit right on the rotor. always check the parts. Parts store thought I was nuts until I showed them my original pads they pulled out two boxes with the identical part number open the box both boxes had different pads and both of them set higher than my original ones.

Yes, it pays to check, especially on brakes.

There are so many variations, different brake options for the same vehicle, different manufacturers, mid year changes... Then throw in that most are aftermarket.

I'm surprised they match them as well as they do!
