Case W4

Doing a little research for a family member that has a Case W4 with a Leyland diesel in it. It has about 350 hours on an overhaul and just suddenly quit running like you pulled the shutoff. Won't hit a lick. It has always needed a whiff of either to get it going even in warm weather and after the rebuild. Now when you go to start it it won't even try even with a shot of either. It kicks back a little like a gas engine that has too much advance on the timing, but will not start. Any ideas?

Loosen the fuel line fittings at the injectors and crank it over and see if any fuel comes out.

There is fuel at the injectors. I should have put that in the original post.
