We were at the Bruce County show last month, featuring Case tractors. I always felt the tan and orange combo made a very attractive colour for a tractor. I'll post a few pics for the next several days. Ben

Randy and Bruce: One of the first BIG tractors I ever got to drive was a neighbor's Case 731. LOL compared to the TO-30 that my maternal Grand Father had the Case was a "BIG" tractor. I was in the fourth grade and got to drive it running the small square baler. Low gear big windrows. Drove where he pointed for me to go while he loaded the wagon. Might have been a CASE guy but my Fraternal Grand Father traded in his JD 60 for a new JD 4010 in 1963. That tractor pretty much made me love green. Just remember for it's day that JD 4010 had a lot of features. Especially coming off of a JD 60 on the one side and a TO-30 on the other.

The thirty series Case are a good looking tractor. The 70 series just do not look as good. They are too square compared to the smooth lines of the 30 series.

Me too, that clean styling of the late two colored 400 and 600 standards and 400 row crop was pretty well done. IMHO the dramatic headlight placement and black stripe on the Comfortkings was a little too much. Just MHO you understand.

I always liked the 30 series Case, especially the CK. At one time I had a 1030CK, a 830EH and a 300 triple range. Dad had a 730 CK and a 730EH. Those were the toughest tractors and easy to work on when needed, that was seldom. I've got a neighbor that has Dad's 730EH and I've tried to buy it back but so far no dice. I'd love too have another 1030.
