O.T. Ford Freestyle rebuilt transmission no cruise control

My son just had the transmission rebuilt in his Freestyle. Now the cruise control does not work. Is there a connection? They also replaced front wheel bearings. I was wondering if the antilock brake sensors also signal the computer for the cruise control? Thanks in advance, Roy

Sounds like a trip back to the shop that did the work.

They apparently forgot to reconnect something. Could be a speed sensor (there are two of them), an ABS sensor, or any number of other things. Could even be the cable from the transducer/servo for the cruise was not hooked up.
As the other posters have said, time for a trip back to the dealer. The job is not complete until EVERY thing is reconnected and working as it did before the repair.
