Allergies, yuck

My allergies are going nuts. Ragweed is in full pollen mode and I'm eating Benadryl like candy. The last couple of days have been breezy from
the south. Some of the calving cows are at a pasture that has lots of ragweed at the south end. Every time I drive over there I have such a
sneezing attack I end up coming in the house to calm it down. We need a rain to wash this all down.
 
I too have a bad ragweed allergy. I get some relief with Allegra and Flonase. Flonase used to be prescription but is now over the counter. Takes a few days for it to work. Use it daily to keep it working. Mine eases up by the end of sept.
 
You may consider getting a respirator to use during the worst times. I started having a time with my sinus every time I mowed grass in the spring. I had the respirator from doing some door sanding last spring, old varnish and fine saw dust was killing me. Use it mowing the yard one day to see if it helped. World of difference. Picked it up at a true value hrwd store for under $30.00 with replaceable filters, well worth the money. A little bit of a pain in the hot weather but worth it.

can only imagine what I must look like but being able to breath when I am done is worth it.
 
Marilyn sometimes wears a dust mask when she is in the garden. One day this summer when it was 95 degrees she was out there an hour with the dust mask, full bandana on her head and a long sleeved shirt picking beans. I don't know how she did it.
 
you mite look into nose spays and inhalers ,,. worx for me ,,. or maybe the chemo I have been taking since may has knocked my allergies in order ,..
