Took some time to clean up the fuel system on the 190XT that I bought for $500 a couple of weeks ago as a parts tractor. Added 2 1/2 gallons of hydraulic oil and she pulls fine now, tranny shifts nice and crisp. Now debating on whether to put some decent rear tires on.

Very good. If those tires hook up I would think it would be
awfully hard on the clutch, transmission, etc.

What had they said was the matter with the tractor?

The seller said it had major internal problems...when I got there he hinted that it had a hard time pulling itself with the power director in high. I guess he didn't know how to check the hydraulic fluid level. It also ran rough...he wanted me to park as close as I could so I didn't have to drive it too far. I just went out to move it and it was running nice and smooth, so I think the fuel filter needs changing, as it is loping a bit in this video.

Straight looking old horse. The neighbor had two of the bar grills. I always liked to drive those tractors.

Eldon the XT 190 used the Rosamaster injection pump so it could need the pump dampening ring replaced. Still not a high price thing to have done. your in the tractor at the right price so you can spend a little and still have a bargain.

I like the looks of that cab better than ACs cab on the 7000 series. It has a much better door and steps.

The seller claimed the pump had been rebuilt, didn't say how long ago. I started it up after sitting 15 minutes and it ran nice and smooth...so my theory is the filter. With the rear tires in bad shape, I am not planning on using it, just curious to see if I could find what was wrong with the tractor.

Maybe there is something the pictures don't show, but those tires look good from here, what is the
problem with them?

The right side isn't too bad, but the left is shedding its tread.
