Great nephew injured.

9 year old great nephew was hitting golf balls with hit cousin. Caught a back swing in the face. Nose is broken in a couple of places and 9 stiches. He's going to be fine! Just a little sore right now. Happened on the family farm. Nephew and my BIL farm together.

Ouch that wouldn't feel good at my little brother got me in the back of the leg with a stiff fiber glass cattle stick probly 15 years ago it left one heck of a welt can't remember what I did to him but I probly deserved it lol mom says she still remembers the crack and the look on my face she didn't know to duck or run bit it hurt.

Hope he feels better nothing worse then getting

I got kicked by a cow when I was 11.Thought I was going to die.Sore for awhile but nothing broken. Hip turned blue. Never forgot it. Hope the nephew
gets to feeling better soon.

Was playing softball in grade school (one room school house) brother was standing off to side getting ready to bat. When the batter hit the ball he threw the bat and it hit my brother in the forehead just at the hair line. Took four stiches to close it. School four miles from town, one teacher, 18 students to watch and one laying on ground bleeding.

I caught a baseball on the side of my nose when I was playing catch with one of my brothers when I was 14 or 15, I was distracted trying to get my youngest brother out of the way and it hit and almost knocked me down. Mom took me to an ENT doctor and he climbed up on the steps of the chair I was in and put the heel of his hand on it and kinda jumped on me. It hurt like blazes at the time, It quit hurting later that day. Of course I got 2 black eyes, quite a sight. It was not straight, but I had a better doctor fix it better after a motorcycle accident that almost tore my nose off. That recovery did take quite a bit longer. I hope he recovers prettier than me! LOL

With the great doctors now days he should heal just fine. My daughter got kicked in the face with a house when she was about 13. She was just at the end of the kick, and it didn't do any damage. It just left her with black and blue mark. Had she been closet who knows what would have happened.I told her to tell the teacher the horse did it, not her dad. Stan

My niece was kicked in the face by a sheriffs horse when she was 3, almost died caved in the front of her skull. They were afraid of life flighting her she was so bad. They ended up flying the surgical team from Shands childrens hospital. 11hrs of surgery Ended up going through a hole inside of the roof of her mouth and pushing the bones out from the inside. She is 22 now still has some problems like teeth growing where there not supposed to, but she is alive.

The teacher at the country school would play catcher and was hit by the bat. She drove into town by herself for stitches.

If he'd of got hurt working or riding a tractor many would be saying how dangerous it is to be doing farm work,the parents were terrible etc etc but get hurt doing something
useless its fine then.Odd way people look at many things these days.At any rate glad he's going to be OK.
