Well I can't post the farm name anylonger (named after a famost revolutionary war general that commanded the continental army) not the female blank running for pres.
Anyway here are pics of the final 2016 oat harvest. Had a good amount of straw where there was no new seeding planted, but where Alfalfa was planted and oats were a cover crop, our deluge of Aug rain caused the Alfalfa to grow as tall as the oats. Rolled only 5 round bales off one of the 22A field up between the woods where I cut firewood and where we tap the trees for maple syrup. The Alfalfa got a heck of a start though, and boy do the beans look really good.
