JonFMN U-bolts

Jon, I put the new axle under my trailer. One question: It is 3500 lb. the U-bolts are 1/2 inch, I assume that they are grade three, so I torqued them to 37 lbs. Is that correct?

I never paid attention to torque specs, I just tightened them good. Be careful not to strip them tho because they are very soft. That said here are the specs I could find.

Well, it looks like I could go a little more. They were feeling right just as I reached 37, but I'll give them a little more. Thanks.
