Nice looking tractor but it hasn't sold in 11 days.
Only [b:43a24b3e0d]$5900.00[/b:43a24b3e0d] (or best offer)

"Those headlights alone must be worth that, you rekon?"

Yep. "Totally restored".
I didn't see any mention of an engine rebuild either.
Maybe I missed it.

boy am I glad you posted this ad. I been thinking of selling my 44 H and using this as a scale of condition to value my tractor is now worth about 4000. Cool beans.

There's enough steel pipe by the light bar to plumb a small house. I'm hoping his "ASAP" isn't really heavy on the "S". That's a $1500 tractor here.

Most of the tractors that claim to be totally restored don't even have a new seat, either just a painted seat pan or generic string cinched cover. This one's looks light it's got the Auto Zone head light option and shift knob delete.

"...maybe it is in Pesos..."

If you're at all familiar with Goshen, IN. that used to be heavily Amish and Mennonite from the area, now far more spanish speaking than anything else...you nailed it. Used to have one of the largest county fairs in this nation, and may still, but I don't speak spanish so I pretty much stay away from Goshen. I don't miss Goshen although just south of there in New Paris is Dennis Polk and he's worth a visit.

They list a new head gasket in the past 15 years on the list. Better terminology would be "well maintained" than "totally restored" in my opinion. Even to the extent I've got my '41 DC torn down, I'd probably say "refurbished" since I'm only inspecting everything and fixing only what's broken, and doing cosmetic restoration.

Nice looking machine. I can believe that he has that much or more into it. The mower alone might be half of that. But getting your money out of these old machines is tough. Easy to pour money into them, over the years. But very hard to get back when you sell it. :?
