IH made a pull type and a mounted version, that is the first pull type I have seen , but there is a YouTube video of the mounted one , I think on a f20.

Ive never seen one like that either. Couldnt imagine when that came out and someone looking at it wondering what that space age contraption was lol.

It sure would be nice to know more about that corn picker, I tried a Google search but did not find a thing.

Bet they did not think that as the space age hadn't been invented yet  !

Thanks mj enjoyed the video, that looks like the same picker the mounted version, I'll bet you would not want to be on any side hills with the hopper full of corn.

did I see a sheppard in 2 photos? almost bought 1 in Nebraska complete in a salvage yard.cheep too why didn't I buy it????

(quoted from post at 12:36:29 08/14/16) Stop and think that hopper didnt hold very much. Sure beat picking by hand and yes they did use them on hills.
Yea and its cob corn but its still up in the air. And I'll bet you that it wouldn't be used on the farm I grew up I know I ouldn't.

I found some info in the book 150 Years of International Harvester. It was built 1929- 1936. We think it is a Model 100. Ron Mn.
