I think it was Jeffcat that said to take pictures when they start to bloom.

nice shots. I like that one near the middle of the set with the closer shot of the barn off to the side. One minor detail the white van should be a older(say 40's-60's) truck with just a touch of rust.

They look really nice Larry! One other
thing, who's the tough guy leaning out your
window?? LOL

Beautiful pictures as always Larry!
Next time you have to plant the seeds straighter.
That way the flowers will all face the same direction! ;)

I have tried some big fields even one 17 acre one and here in Tennessee they will get about three feet high and then the deer just strip them down to the stem. I have tried several years but deer just love the things.

Just drove across Kansas yesterday. Saw hundreds of acres of Sunflowers,
(if not thousands), because the farms are so vast that they reach beyond the horizon. Beautiful sight and also saw a few million acres of beautiful corn. Hope the yield is as good as it appears to be. In some areas, I could not tell the difference between irrigated corn and dry land corn. As I traveled, I could only imagine the tremendous cost of putting this crop in the ground. Also saw areas where it looked as though they were double cropping wheat and Milo. All looked very good. I am hoping for a good crop for all farmers. Who else can we depend on?
