Wish I had dirt like that, or any dirt :). I would put beets and onions in with the turnips. Looks like a long way to drag a hose!

Sure is some pretty country.
 
Larry I have some left over Atrazine that will help keep the weeds out of that nice patch of ground.

( Might slow down the turnips a little too. LOL)
 
Uh, sorry Larry, I feel the same about turnips as I do pickled beets.

Cows seemed to like 'em though when I tried a field several years ago.

You might try planting some Jicama ( Mexican Turnips ). After harvesting, peel off the heavy outer skin, has the texture of a potato but
tastes sweet, similar to a Sugar Beet. Eat raw or slice thin and put into salads. YUM!

I think you might like 'em.

Larry, I don't own anything with GPS. My brain and feet just have to work together (which they do most of the time).
Looks very good. You really enjoy your farming and gardening.

Too late..already spoke to one of your grandsons,they want to sell more stuff besides sweetcorn at their stand,,They ordered turnips,potatoes,peppers,tomatoes,squash etc,,,etc,,,they made me a bartor deal on a Case vac,,/// the veggies are on the way.
