not sure of the yr but I think it's old enough that it probably came with solid rubber tires with that chain drive rear axle
would ride a lot better with air filled tires
either way you don't see many that old n nice looking

i was thinking the same thing its possible it came on pneumatic rubber, i think the wingfoot express was what 1919? but im betting this truck, being a '23 had hard rubber when new and picked up the air up style as soon as possible , those of you who have ridden on a old steel wheel tractor know what i mean hard rubber wasnt much better
 
very nice, the Wellington macks are legendary in the northeast, and some of the more modern ones were just huge for heavy haul work
