OT deep lake

We are at table rock lake in Missouri this week, I measured 220' in the channel near the damn, this is one deep clear lake.

Mom and dad had a house there for many years. The cliffs on south have a straight drop to them. I remember years ago we were going yo go cliff jumping there. We tied a weight on a 100 foot ski rope and dropped it down two feet from the cliff. We never found bottom. Beautiful area. They have worked hard to keep it a lake that its not as commercialized.

After staying at Lake of the Ozarks, I will agree with Old, it is a sewage lagoon compared to this.

A friend that I used to work with borrowed the boss' boat and went down there for a big party weekend (or maybe it's like that all the time) about 10 years ago. From the pictures I wished I would have gone. Only made it to that area once, over my honeymoon and the country there sure is pretty.
