I am looking for a used 1974 JD310 Backhoe Loader / POWER STEERING VALVE HOUSING, SHAFT and MOUNTING GASKET. Can anyone help me out?

What's wrong with the steering housing you have now? Steering valve type changed at serial number -163706.

If your tractor is below -163706 & it needs new o-rings due to internal/external leakage I'd suggest renewing them VS R&R of valve housing.

The housing split, tried having the cast iron welded, cracked again. Also, the piston oring is broken.

There is a free parts book on the JD web with a cross reference . Odds are that several ordinary farm tractors used the same component .
