white 2-105 internal hydraulic leak

I have an internal hydraulic leak on my white 2-105, hydraulic pan is fine checked that it is going into the transmission at a pretty steady pace lost about 5 gallons in about 10 min how else can the fluid go into the tranny

Thanks

Check on the Oliver/Cockshutt forum to be sure, but I think the cylinder that activates the PTO clutch can leak hyd oil like that. Never had it happen myself, but I believe that's the case.

Lazyacres, You might try posting on the Oliver forum below. My friend has had the same problem and hasn't got it fixed yet. He did have the PTO rebuilt and new seals and still leaked. Right now has the valve apart. He also had hydraulic pump rebuilt but seal might be leaking there again. The tractor been a lawn ornament for over a year now and he doesn't have the money to fix it.

Will it leak into the rear end with out the tractor running. If you purchase a cap for the pressure line to the PTO and install it at the valve will the oil go into the rear end? You have a phone number?

I talked to a guy today said that probably blew some seals in the hydraulic pump but would not really tell me which pump. I does not leak unless the tractor is running but it takes about 10 min to loose about 5 gallons of oil I will try to find the other forum to post in

is the long shaft that goes through the tractor hard to remove mine came out about 12 inches now doesn't seem to want to mave
