Oil amount in aircleaner cup?

How much oil needs to be in the aircleaner cup on an old Farmall C ??

There should be a ring as the "level" stamped into the side wall of the cup. I fill to the top of that inner ring baffle in the cup itself. Hope I am right. Let us hear from others. Straight 30wt oil.

Hmmm, as I recall the "level" mark means to fill the entire cup to that level. I seem to remember there's holes in the inner cup so the levels equalize. Sorry to admit, but I hardly ever check my level. But I thnk if you fill the outer cup to "level" you also fill the inner cup.

JeffCT has it right to the stamped oil level line on the cup. It should have a couple of holes to let it equalize between the inner and outer.
