Hopefully the pictures will post, been awhile since I've tried to upload some.
Opened up the crankcase on my 44 John Deere A to clean the years of gunk out of there and I found this.
Not sure what they were thinking when they cobbled this together. Had worn into the metal line a ways but thankfully not through.
Replaced that mess with a new one piece line that's properly bent to clear the oil pump drive.
I did find that it has rods out of a later A or 60 in it which is nice.
