I decided that the garden was not going to survive if it didn't rain pretty soon so , since desperate times call for desparate measures, I got the water wagon out. It is a salvaged 275 gallon fuel tank mounted on a trailer. The axle is a shortened house trailer axle and the pump is a small Honde powered utility pump. It takes about 20 minutes to fill it at the pond. The little pump doesn't use much fuel and the flow is about the same as city water The Wheel Horse is more than capable of hauling it to the garden.
 
i built a water wagon for giving the fruit trees a drink, and as portable water in case of a fire in the field. i have a 1000 gallon tank on a trailer, mounted a shallow water jet pump and a generator on the back. i have a trash pump on the front to fill it from the creek. can also flip the hoses on the trash pump and plug in the fire hose just in case!!

oh yeah, for the correct police, it does have a new smv emblem on the back, and if you look close, you can see a chain hanging off the trailer below the generator. thats an earth ground. learned that from john T!!!! havin the loader on the ground may help too!!!
 
You are correct, no ground unless there is specific instructions to do so. in this case no ground. Jim
 
I was following a fire truck through town the other day and noticed they had a whole gang of chains dragging under the front axle area. Never noticed that before, I assumed it was for grounding.
 
Wish I could share. We had 3" last night. Then over the 4th of July holiday, my 5" rain gague ran over. I heard reports of 7-11". Central MO.

Those chains actually are for snow purposes. They are thrown under the tires for added traction via a switch inside the cab.

They have nothing to do with any sort of grounding.
