Super M won't move. Locked brakes?

I'm trying to pull my super m to somewhere where I can work on it. But it won't move. The shifter has been disconnected so I can't tell if it's in neutral. However I Did press the clutch down. It still barely made it a few feet. I don't know why I didn't realize earlier while I was outside but is it possible that the brakes are locked up? I don't remember for sure but it seems like the petals were down. Keep in mind I didn't fool with the brakes so I don't know how simple or difficult the fix will be. Im hoping I can just pull them back up and it'll roll. I'm just looking for advice before I start tomorrow

Could be stuck in 2 gears, that's pretty common on an M. Not sure what you mean by the shifter is disconnected, is the shift lever out of the transmission? If so, then you can look down the hole and see if the slides are lined up, that's how you fix it, but it's been 47 years since I did one!

Someone took the pin out of the lever and you can just pull it out of the transmission. And I figured it meant neutral if they were lined up but I didn't wanna go off a hunch haha. If it is stuck in two gears. How to I go about fixing it?

Position all the rails so that they are even with each other, which of course would be in the center. If one rail is forward or back, then it is still in gear.

it can very well be brake disc's stuck. just loosen all the bolts on the drum st least 1/2 " out and tap the drum with a hammer. i have done this a few times to get a tractor moving and loaded.

The most likely reason that the shift lever is loose is that the PO was trying to get the rails lined up. Get a good powerful mini flashlight and you can do it. I use the Little NEBO with one cr123 battery. Never leave home without it.

You might also pull the cover off the bottom of the torque tube behind the clutch. Our H locked up once and I found the problem by removing that cover and noticed that one bolt had come out the yoke of the drive shaft coupling that locked up everything. Put the bolt back in with some Loctite and it cured the problem.

an M does not have disc brakes. It would have the band brakes. See if the pedals were locked in the park setting. Like already said on the rails. If the bands are stuck and will not release then you will have to remove the cover with the band. Several bolts around the perimeter.
