Farmall Leaking oil from breather tube

Hi. My F-30 Farmall seems to be leaking oil from the block breathing tube when the tractor is going uphill, but it only dose it sometimes. Its already gotten to the point of leaving a trail of oil behind me when I have the tractor in road gear. What would cause this?

have you been oiling the valves a lot , excess oil from the valvetrain will end up coming out that pipe sooner or later especially when going up hill like loading on a trailer.

My F30 is a later one and it oils by itself. Can I set how much oil it sends?

Does it have oil drains for the oil going to the valve train?

Maybe one is blocked.

When I took the valve cover off I noticed that the pan that holds the oil for the lifter has 2 cracks in the one side as if someone took a plyers and bent a small section of the pan down and then put it back up in place again. The bent piece is about 1/2 in in length but there are cracks on each side large enough that oil could seep through. Could that be causing the problem?
