Yup, reunited the the Case/Allen Industries factory cab to the chasis of the Case 931 today.
Built a cradle from 2X6 timbers to cradle the bucket of my KX-41-3 Trackhoe and screwed it to the roof of the cab. Stuck the boom and bucket through the back window opening, and picked it off the dolly that I have had it on all winter doing my mods to the cab.
Pushed the hoe to it's mechanical limits, but got the job done.
Big job done with no problems. A GOOD day.
Really likeing the way this project is turning out.
The correct police can take a hike, as this is my tractor with my concept of how it should look.
Had several more pic that I wanted to post but afer about 45min for these 3, I gave up.

Its looking great Loren ,,,Good job. Im with ya on the correct Police.. Its yours you can do with it want you want.

excellent job love the looks, wish I could use one around my farm. Too many hills though. I did find an 830 with a cab like yours, but the engine is apart and has been outside a long time.

Loren that tractor never looked that good from the factory!!!!! I really admire the skill you have to get the finished product to look so professionally done.

The cab sure looks nice back on the tractor. The visors/lightbar turned out very good also. That trackhoe comes in handy for a lot of things.

most of them will be looking at it trying to figure out if its a rare one off factory concept or not
its that well done IMO
looking real good
I'm like you and Frank Sinatra and I'll do it my way

Where is the champagne to celebrate the marriage? I was told wedding cake is the leading cause for divorce. good job.

Looking good. Good use of the KX 41 . Will be a nice unit when you get it finished. How is you health after the last little go around?

great job, loren! i have been following along as you have been working on the project. you certainly won't have any problem seeing where you are working at 2 am on a dark night! lol

Loren ( One of my heroes on this forum) , I have an abandoned Case 580 C with a good Diesel engine. The backhoe was retired when the transaxle failed. I looked for a transaxle to replace it but I fanally called of the search.I am certain that the engine could be used in a different Case tractor .Any suggestions? TIA Sam Womer (PA)

Loren , I showed this to My sara,,.Told Her these are the sort a things that make my day ,.. She said "That's Nice , Looks like a school bus
' ...,ahhhw these gals..., Lol

Great job Loren!

It will take a while to get comfortable with your increased clearance height.
I'd like to do something like this eventually with my JD2030. If I do, I'll have strobes, beacons, LED flashers, search lights, reflective tape and curb feelers......lol

That will give them something to talk about.
