Had a good CL experience and met a real nice old fellow I'll probably do business again with today.Skid Loader was advertised, I called, it had been up about an hour,he says he still has it describes
the loader sounds good.I told him I was 1 1/2 to 2 hrs away would he hold it for me? He says yes but right up front he's not coming down on the price, that's fine.I get to his place loader is as he described and has a set of forks for it too he didn't mention all for the the original price. He gets two calls while I'm looking at the loader.I drive it, like it and pay him,we load it up and talk for about an hr about different pieces of equipment we have now and used to have and a very neat loader he has.Great afternoon, thanks to CL.

My experience buying on CL is quite limited, but I found my Lincoln tombstone welder on CL in great shape at the price I wanted to pay.

I had a similar craigslist experience yesterday, sold my McCormick grain drill to a guy, told him what I wanted, take it or leave it. Younger guy about my age, paid cash. We talked about his plans for it, my dream for it, our old tractors and plows and our hobbies playing with em and how our wives think we're crazy for it.

I have had a lot of experiences on climate all have been good.but I only deal on the farm and garden section mostly good old country folks on that one

I ended up buying my son's tenor sax on CL. Seller was great. I had actually went to look at a $400 Conn and ended up buying the $700 1973 Selmer Bundy. After seeing it (and my son playing it), I told the guy I would pay the 700 and had to intention of talking him down. He seemed relieved. It was definitely worth the money. Great experience all around.
