Progress report on Case 931

Progress on the 931 has been slow. Too many other things to do, and poor weather the days that I have had time to paint. Also had another mini stroke last Monday which slowed me down a couple of days. somewhat better now. I painted most of the day today, and things are starting to come together. Hopeing to reunite the cab and tractor this coming Monday. My son has the day off. Once the cab is back on I can start installing the interior upolstery. No kits available, so it will all be cut and fitted on site. My wife is a seamstris, and said she could sew the joints needed to fit the padding to the interior sides of the cab. Once fit in place they will be glued in with contact cement, ment for that purpose.

Really enjoy seeing this since the beginning and hope like heck your health stays good, funny how the show must go on regardless. Well at least you won't have to put up as much wood this year, well for the house anyways. I am willing to bet next winter will be not so mild as this, thinking of the patterns of recent times.

I see you got creative with the exhaust too.

This reminded me that your picture of the Allen cab rang a bell for me. So I just went and looked. Sure enough. The cab on my 1985 Ford 655A TLB is-

Hey Bob, I wondered if that exhaust was stock or not (don't know anything about Case tractors), but I think either way it looked pretty awesome when I first saw it
