Can't Catch A Break!

Well it started a few weeks ago bush hogging with my MF 230 diesel and it started knocking pulled the pan and seems the oil pump quit and partially spun a rod bearing. I'm still debating on putting a pump clean the journal with emery cloth and bearings or do a complete rebuild. Then last week the ac in my truck stopped working it's a 1995 Ford F150 with 358,000 miles on it and debating on how much money I want to spend on it. Well I started cutting with my 1967 Ford 3000 with add on power steering. I went to make a turn and something didn't seem right. I looked down and the left radius arm had come lose. Apparently 2 bolts backed out and the other one broke off. I never did find the two pieces that the ball goes in. I did have a parts tractor so this afternoon I get to go fix that. I can't wait to see what comes next! It seems like instead of one of those days I'm having one of those months! You'll pray for me to have the strength to carry on!

Danny,

I feel your pain. My days, every day, are filled with adversity. I've often said that nothing is easy and some things are harder than others. I guess we just need to be patient and keep going. I try to get my gratification out of what little things I do accomplish and not worry too much about all of the things that I didn't accomplish.

Hang in there.

Hasn't been exactly a stellar year for my son so far either. Seems to be one thing after another all year so far. He's going to be happy to look at 2016 in the rear view mirror.

Thanks everybody it's kind of funny every time one of my tractors breaks my wife says your always needing money to fix those old tractors and I say give me the word and I'll go get a brand new one and try it. That usually ends the conversation! Hey Tom n TN where are you located at? I'm in Memphis and my land is about 30 minutes east of there. Going to try and move out there in the next couple of years.

Danny,

I'm located about 5 miles west of Spring Hill. My mailing address is Columbia, but I'm actually about 15 miles northwest of there. My farm is very rough, hilly, rocky, with a considerable amount of woods. I have 150 acres, but, I only have twenty acres of hay ground and all the rest is building site, pasture land, and woods.

I do everything by myself, so what I get done, I do slowly. There's always a lot more to do than I can get to.

I really like the flater land over in the western part of Tennessee.
