Response to 300 U post. Have an ides , don't know may just be a brain fart.why could not some make a replacement belt hinge that would be attached to proper belts. Would be stronger than leather link belts. Correct belt could be cut and this hinge be bolted (small bolts of course) giving a permanent fix in hard to reach applications. Ok its a terrible day for my pain so look over crazy ideas, blame it on hydrocodone.

NO need to reinvent the wheel.

There's quite a variety of segmented belts out there, and they've moved WAY beyond leather construction.

"Power Twist" is ONE brand.
