So was able to start it today and try to get it out of park with it running. Clutch and or brake pedal made no difference so I jacked up one back wheel and tried to release any pressure of the parking brake and that did not help. Jacked and pulled in it a few times and still will not pop out of park. I was by my self so I could not mess with the shiftier and the tire at the same time. Any clue as to what is wrong.

Old, I think you will need to unhook the linkage right where it goes into the differential case. There are a couple of linkages that could have gotten bent over time and causing the levers to go over center. Also, several pivot points that can rust up but I doubt anything inside would be giving you the problem, but, by unhooking all linkage and getting right on the end of the shaft you will be able to pin it down. I don't remember just how difficult it is to get at it as it has been twenty years since I worked on them and did very little major repairs on them anyway.
