Cast iron seats

I would like to paint some cast iron implement seats but have no idea what the original colors were. Does anyone know if there is any info. on seat colors out there ?

YT has paint codes for most tractors
will get you the correct colors at least
then if you look on tractordata dot com you can see most makes and models of tractors with pics to get
which color/s the seats were painted

Thank you for the reply. The cast iron seats I was referring to were not tractor seats, being manufactured from 1850 to about 1900. give or take a few years. I'm sure some of the very early tractors had cast iron seats but are very rare.

I remember cast iron seats on some of the implements that Dad had when I was a kid. I also remember that they were very, very cold to set on when the temperatures were below zero. I know that the horse-drawn manure spreader and sickle mower had cast iron seats, can't remember what else had them.
